What makes these mirrors truly unique is their journeys — they have been lovingly upcycled from second-hand finds. Transforming something overlooked into a cherished statement piece brings the artist (and us!) immense joy.
Kat's process begins with hand-sketching original floral designs, which are then rendered digitally to create custom stencils. An airbrush and high quality chalk paint is then used for a flawlessly smooth finish.
To ensure longevity and enhance the richness of the colours, the frames have been finished with a protective coat of sealing wax. This not only seals and protects the paint but also brings out the depth of colour for a truly stunning finish.
