The first print in our collection, ‘Desert Dance’ features a well-dressed cowboy surrounded by desert friends. It was drawn at home on the island in the Wild West (of Ireland), surrounded, not by desert friends, but by island friends - a fat black Labrador, an elderly Bernese Mountain Dog and a snoozing human dad. ‘Desert Dance’ was the first illustration that caught the eye of Quinn Says founder Charlie Hale, leading to my illustrating her shop window in Belgravia and expanding the Dancing in the Desert collection to 10 prints.

Our prints are created using luxury textured paper here in the UK. For every print made, a tree is planted. Lovely.

PLEASE NOTE. Our small team hand-packs these in condition for sale. Please remove your print carefully and slowly from their postage tube to avoid ripping the edge.

Silly Filly

Silly Filly started as a personal craft project by Kiera Black, as a means of encouraging creative play outside of running her production and branding studio, Bam Bam Madame.

The reason for each work varies from having no meaning at all to random moments of magic, poeticism or romance. While one might be inspired by French electronica, another is jogged by hearing an old Spike Milligan rhyme or a phrase uttered by a friend, a random selection of words that spring to mind wandering through an airport in the early hours or in the shower.

The aim is to create a world where the playful and silly meets surreal and romantic. For now, that’s through visual art on beautifully textured paper
